Indoor Veteran Paul Robinson Joins the Force

WICHITA, Kan. - The Wichita Force has announced the signing of veteran defensive back Paul Robinson for the 2017 season.

Robinson played for the Dodge City Law during 2014 season where he had a significant impact at corner, helping lead the law to the CPIFL semi-final game. Robinson was a force at corner for the Law, with 40 tackles, 16 passes defended, 12 pass break ups, and 4 interceptions that season. Following that season, Robinson was signed by the Tamp Bay Storm of the Arena Football League, but did not see game action during the 2015 season.

In 2013 Robinson joined the Sioux City Bandits as a rookie. For the Bandits, Robinson scored two times on a pick 6 against the Wichita Wild and a kickoff return against the Salina Bombers, both former members of the CPIFL.

Robinson (5'10, 183) is a native of Killeen, Texas and played collegiately at Dodge City Community College before transferring to Pittsburg State. With the Gorillas, Robinson was a standout cornerback helping lead the team his senior season to the 2011 NCAA Division II National Championship. That year, Robinson, racked up 55 tackles, 8 tackles for loss, 3 interceptions for 138 yards, 2 fumble recoveries, and scored 3 defensive touchdowns. Robinson contributed on special teams as well blocking 2 kicks.
