Indoor Football This Week

Taking a break from my adventures in coaching high school track, I rounded up a few notes on the state of indoor football in the young season. Keeping things in alphabetical order, we'll take it from the top.
AIFA: It's kind of cool that only two teams - Fayetteville and Wyoming - are unbeaten after the first four weeks. Parity? ... Omar Jacobs coming back to Florence is obviously a big reason that the Phantoms beat Columbus, but as a coach, I'm wondering why nobody has bothered to mention a pretty good defense ... When will the AIFA suspend Michael Mink for Ogden not reporting stats in timely manner? Oh, that's right ...
CIFL: Someone really needs to explain to me why the CIFL is letting Jim Terry play, or even why he is allowed out in public. But then again, he's kicking for an 0-3 Rock River team so  ... The really cool numbers come out of Chicago: The team is 3-0, and the distribution among the three top receivers (15-13-12). Not to mention both home games have drawn over 3,500 ...
IFL: Quincy Carter only goes 3-12 in preseason for Abeline? ... Peter Warrick has 10 catches in three games for Bloomington. You've got a former NFL guy who probably still has some game left and you're getting him the ball less than 4 times a game? Maryland at Alaska; nice move to have an expansion team trek across the entire continent ... Rochester is 0-2. Do I need to type anything else?
