
Individual Game Tickets On-Sale Monday

NORWICH, CT - The Connecticut Tigers announced today that single-game tickets for the 2011 season will go on sale Monday May 16 at 10 a.m. Tickets can be purchased at the Dodd Stadium Ticket office, by phone at 860-887-7962 or online at cttigers.com.
The league begins play on June 17, while the Tigers open at Dodd Stadium on Monday, June 20 against the defending New York-Penn League champions, the Tri-City ValleyCats (Astros affiliate). The fun continues all summer long as the Tigers face off against the Lowell Spinners (Red Sox), Staten Island Yankees (Yankees), and Brooklyn Cyclones (Mets) and other notable New York-Penn League franchises.
Tickets start as low as $7 per game for grandstand seats and range up to $20 for "The Yard" Bar & Grill, the Tigers sports bar located on the luxury suite level.
Single-game ticket prices for the 2011 season are as follows:
* Grandstand: $7
* Reserved Box Seat: $8
* Premium Box Seat: $10
* "The Yard" Bar & Grill: $20
Along with the opening night fireworks celebration, there will be a postgame fireworks show after all five Friday night games during the summer of 2011. The Tigers will have plenty of weekend action throughout the season as well, with seven Saturday and seven Sunday contests this year.
Connecticut will host a wide variety of promotional events at the ballpark during the season. Each Sunday will feature "Kid's Run the Bases" postgame sponsored by Ben & Jerry's as well as "Have a Catch" presented by Dick's Sporting Goods. On July 22nd (vs. Tri-City ValleyCats) the Tigers will hold their annual Military Appreciation Night, where those with a Military ID will be able to purchase reserved or grandstand tickets for just $3. Also that night one lucky fan will win a flat screen TV presented by Samsung.
The afternoon of August 21st (vs. Aberdeen Ironbirds) the roar of the Tigers will be joined by some other fury friends, as fans are encouraged to bring their dog out to Dodd for the annual Bark in the Park, brought to you by Goodfriend's Veterinary Cinic. The fun continues on August 27th (vs. Vermont Lake Monsters), during which the Tigers will celebrate and salute the history of baseball in Norwich with Norwich Navigator Night. A complete list of promotional nights and events will be announced in the near future.
Some notable home series this season include July 2 - July 3 against the Lowell Spinners; July 9 -July 11 against the Brooklyn Cyclones; August 17 - August 19 against the Staten Island Yankees; and September 2 - September 4 against the Lowell Spinners, the final series of the season. Expect the 2011 season to be jam packed with family fun!
