Indianapolis Enforcers 2012 Season Preview

The Indianapolis Enforcers return to the CIFL for its second season.

The Enforcers, were the league's only traveling team, when they got their 2011 start 32 days before the season kicked off.

This season finds the Indianapolis Enforcers starting on time. The team will play for the first time in Indianapolis, Indiana at TheSportZone, 6601 Coffman Road.

A shock to the Indianapolis Enforcers this season is the loss of starting QB DeMarcus Simons. Simons, a QB from South Caroline, came at the end of the Enforcers 2011 season. With only four games to go, Simons was able to put life into a near lifeless offense. He became one of the most dynamic players in the CIFL.

However, in this upcoming off season, they need to address the depth of their defense. Despite the creative schemes of defensive coordinator Tiny "Guy" Lee, they need to add some playmakers and

situational guys at each of the three levels of the defense if they hope to get into the playoffs this season. Under the arrival of new defensive coordinator Brian Hendricks, the defense looks to prove they can matchup with anyone in the CIFL this season.

Over all the 2012 Indianapolis Enforcers look like a much improved team. With the arrivals of a new young gun at QB Anthony Duckett along with fellow new comer Dontae Hart and others should bring a new dimension to their offense. Their defense has adopted a swagger and aggressiveness about themselves under new defensive coordinator Brian

Hendricks. The defense is lead by returning Jack Backer Zachary Cavanaugh and Free Agent Safety and Corner from the Dayton Silverbacks, Donavon Evans.

The Indianapolis Enforcers travel to the Dayton Silverbacks Sunday March 11th for their season opener.
