IBL Championship Game to be Broadcast Live on KBAI

BELLINGHAM, Wash. - The Bellingham Slam have announced that they have reached an agreement to have the 2010 International Basketball League Championship game broadcast live on KBAI AM 930, Bellingham's progressive talk station. The game tips-off on July 16 at 8 p.m. local time, or 5 p.m. Pacific, from the Washington Avenue Armory in Albany, N.Y.

KBAI broadcast all ten Slam home games during the regular season, and also broadcast the 2008 IBL Championship game between Bellingham and the Elkhart Express.

Veteran broadcasters Doug Lange and Mark Scholten will head to Albany to call the action. In addition to being broadcast live over the air on KBAI AM 930, the play-by-play will also be streamed live on KBAI's website at www.930kbai.com .

Lange and Scholten will take to the air fifteen minutes prior to tip-off, at 5:45 p.m. Pacific time with the Bellingham Slam pre-game show.
