
Hounds come back to win number 10

HIDALGO, TEXAS - The Youngstown SteelHounds came back from a 2-1 deficit to defeat the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees by a score of 4-2 on Sunday afternoon.
Petr Pohl got the Hounds started on the right foot as he scored at just 42 seconds into the game to give Youngstown a 1-0 lead. Josh Bonar tied it up for the Bees at 9:34 to make it 1-1 after the first period.
Rio Grande Valley was thinking upset as Rob Voltera scored a power play goal at 2:34 to put the Bees up 2-1 after two periods. Voltera has five goals on the season.
Youngstown came storming back in the third period as Erik Johnson scored a shorthanded goal off a centering pass from Kevin Jarman to tie the game with 11:17 to play. It is Johnson's second goal of the season. Kevin Jarman notched his first two assists of the season today giving him seven points for the year. Petr Pohl scored his second goal of the game just 3:15 later to put the Hounds up 3-2. Pohl's two goals gives him a team leading eight on a season as he extended his point streak to seven games.
Nathan Schwatzbauer recorded his first professional goal at 16:51 as he tipped a pass from Mark Odut past Jeff Van Nynatten to give the Hounds the 4-2 win. It was Odut's first point of the season.
Brad Roberts improves to 2-0-0 between the pipes for Youngstown as he made 27 saves on 29 shots. The Hounds are now 10-0-1 (21 points) and have the best record in the Central Hockey League. The SteelHounds will now travel to Tulsa to play Jeff Christian and the Oilers on Tuesday night. Game time is 8:05pm and is available on ESPN Radio 1240 and SteelHounds.com
