Hennigar Recalled to AHL

Estero, FL- Florida Everblades president and general manager Craig Brush in coordination with head coach Malcolm Cameron announced that forward Rob Hennigar has been recalled to Albany of the American Hockey League. Forward Harrison Reed has been reassigned to Florida from Albany.

The Everblades second-leading scorer Rob Hennigar has earned his first promotion of the season. Hennigar has appeared in 17 games with the Everblades this season and fired in a team-leading eight goals and 15 assists (2nd on team) for 23 points. His +6 rating also ranks second on the club. The Jordan, Ontario native ranks fifth amongst ECHL scorers.

Forward Harrison Reed has played in 19 games with the Everblades AHL affiliate, the Albany River Rats. He has chipped in two assists with six minutes in penalties this season. The 2006 Carolina Hurricanes draft choice appeared in one game with the Everblades last season scoring a goal and assist. He spent the majority of the 2008-09 season in Albany. In 70 appearances last season with the River Rats he scored five goals and nine points with 22 penalty minutes. Reed is expected to join the Everblades on their two-week road trip.

Florida Everblades Hockey - Serious Hockey...Serious Fun! The Everblades go on the road for seven games during the next two weeks. Florida will travel to Wheeling on Wednesday night in the first meeting of the season between the Nailers and 'Blades. Friday, Florida travels to Toledo before finishing up the week in Kalamazoo on Saturday and Sunday.
