Hazel Miller to Sing National Anthem at MLL Championship
October 1, 2019 - Major League Lacrosse (MLL) News Release
Boston, MA - Major League Lacrosse is happy to announce that Hazel Miller will sing The Star Spangled Banner at the 2019 MLL Championship Game.
Major League Lacrosse's Director of Events Buddy Rose said, "Hazel Miller is one of the most sought after performers in the region and we are thrilled to have her perform at Championship Weekend."
Originally from Louisville, Kentucky, Miller has wowed audiences in Colorado for over 30 years. Some of Miller's greatest achievements include performing the Star Spangled Banner at the Denver Broncos game on October 24th, 2016. That game was broadcast on ESPN and Miller's performance was seen by over 30 million people. Miller was also selected to sing the national anthem at Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper's inauguration in 2015.
Miller can be heard locally and nationally on several radio stations including KOA, KBCO, KUVO, and Sirius XM Radio.
Miller has received many accolades throughout her career, but perhaps the most poignant came when Rocky Mountain News of Denver said, "she isn't just a great singer, she is a force of nature."
Miller will perform on the field prior to the 2019 MLL Championship Game at Dick's Sporting Good Park in Commerce, Colorado. Get your tickets today!
