Trailing 5-0 in the fourth, Devin Fitz-Gerald homered with one out for the Sens first run and baserunner of the game. A Devin Ortiz sac fly RBI in the fifth cut the deficit to 5-2. In the sixth, Ethan Petry doubled to score Branden Boissiere. The next hitter, Kevin Bazzell, drove in Elijah Green with a sac fly. The Senators trailed 5-4. Then eight men came to the plate in the seventh. An RBI single from Fitz-Gerald, a bases-loaded walk drawn by Green and a two-RBI single from Bazzell scored four runs in the frame putting Harrisburg in front 8-5. Akron scored in the bottom of the inning, but the Sens responded with Sam Brown's leadoff homer in the eighth to push the lead to 9-6. Petry followed with a homer in the ninth to extend the lead to 10-6.
