CLEARWATER, FLA.: Fueled by a three-RBI performance from Trey Harris and another dominant outing from the Fire Frogs staff, Florida sealed a series sweep with a 4-0 victory over the Clearwater Threshers on Sunday afternoon at Spectrum Field.

The Fire Frogs held the Threshers without a tally over the final 16 stanzas of the three-game series.

LHP Hayden Deal was lights out through five frames, yielding just two hits and a walk with four strikeouts while not factoring in the decision. RHP Troy Bacon (3-3) and RHP Walter Borkovich tossed scoreless stanzas to back up Deal, with Bacon receiving the win for his efforts.

RHP Lukas Young and RHP Sean McLaughlin worked around single Threshers hits in the eighth and ninth to keep them off the board.

RHP Spencer Howard was electric in his start for the Threshers, tossing five hitless innings with seven strikeouts.

Scoring Summary: The Fire Frogs broke onto the board in the seventh. Andrew Moritz singled to start the rally against RHP Tyler Carr and was moved over on a groundout from Riley Delgado. After a walk to CJ Alexander, Trey Harris singled through the left side for a 1-0 Fire Frogs advantage.

Florida blew up for three tallies in the ninth. Brett Langhorne singled and stole a base in front of Andrew Moritz, who drove him home for a base knock for a 2-0 Fire Frogs lead. Three batters later, Harris shot a laser out of the park to left off LHP Keylan Killgore to balloon the advantage to 4-0.

Carr (2-1) accepted the loss for Clearwater, giving up two hits and a run across two frames. Killgore surrendered multiple runs for his second straight outing, allowing three hits and three runs over five outs.

Fire Frogs Key Performers: Harris went 2-4 while slamming his fourth long ball as a member of the Fire Frogs and driving in three. Moritz turned in his sixth multi-hit effort of the month, swatting 2-4 with two runs scored. Drew Lugbauer had his hitting streak snapped at seven games, but drew a walk to bump his on-base streak to 13.

Threshers Key Performers: Nick Maton slashed 2-4, recording two of the five Clearwater knocks. Simon Muzziotti notched his third double of the series and coaxed a walk.

NEXT UP: After taking Monday off, the Fire Frogs venture to Jupiter to continue their road trip and begin a three-game series against the Palm Beach Cardinals at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium. First pitch of Tuesday evening's lid-lifter is scheduled for 6:30 pm.
