Hamilton's Jordan Hall Renews Contract with MLL

(Hamilton, February 23)... Major League Lacrosse (MLL) announced today the signing of Hamilton Nationals midfielder Jordan Hall for the 2012 season. The Delaware alumnus was a second-round selection (11th overall) by the Chicago Machine in the 2007 MLL Collegiate Draft.

He is entering his fourth season with the Nationals, his sixth season with the league. The midfielder played in 11 regular season games with the Nationals last season and tallied 23 points (14 goals, 9 assists). Hall played for the Young Guns in the 2009 MLL All-Star Game. He won back-to-back MLL titles in 2008-09.

This weekend, eight Nationals have been selected to play in the 2012 NLL All-Star Game in Buffalo. The game on Saturday is a 7:00 p.m. start at First Niagara Center. Cody Jamieson and Brodie Merrill were voted in as starters for the East All-Stars, while Kyle Rubisch and Adam Jones were chosen as starters for the West. Forwards Garrett Billings and Kevin Crowley will also play for the East. Transition man Geoff Snider will make his fifth All-Star appearance, suiting up for the West. Meanwhile, Rhys Duch, who was selected to play forward for the West All-Stars, will miss the game with an injury.

The Nationals will open the 2012 season against the Denver Outlaws, on Saturday, May 5th at 9:00 p.m. at INVESCO Field at Mile High. Hamilton makes its home debut on Friday, May 18th with an 11:00 a.m. contest against the Chesapeake Bayhawks at Ron Joyce Stadium at McMaster University.
