Hamilton Featured on Three National Broadcasts

(Hamilton, February 2)... Hamilton's Major League Lacrosse team will live up to its moniker as the Nationals receive "national" attention three times this season as part of the TV deal between the MLL and CBS Sports Network.

CBS Sports Network (CBSSN) will air live 14 nationally televised games in addition to all 18 episodes of "Inside the MLL," the League's 30-minute magazine show. The Nationals will first appear on CBSSN on Saturday, June 2nd, when they travel to play the expansion Charlotte Hounds at 7:00 p.m. Hamilton's plays games at Rochester on Saturday, June 23rd and Saturday, July 21st at Long Island, which will also be televised live on CBS Sports Network. Both games are 7:00 p.m. starts.

In Ontario, lacrosse fans can watch the games on Cogeco in standard definition on Channel 160 in HD on 744. Subscribers to Rogers can watch the Nats in standard definition on Channel 416 and in high-definition on 547. Bell users can tune in on Channel 413.

"We are very excited about this new partnership with CBS Sports Network," said MLL Commissioner David Gross. "We're thrilled to bring 14 live games to fans in addition to our magazine show 'Inside the MLL,' which will give viewers a behind-the-scenes look at Major League Lacrosse and its star players."

The Nationals will open the 2012 season against the Denver Outlaws, on Saturday, May 5th at INVESCO Field at Mile High. Hamilton makes its home debut on Friday, May 18th with an 11:00 a.m. contest against the Chesapeake Bayhawks at Ron Joyce Stadium at McMaster University. In addition to regular season matchups, CBSSN will also air the second Semifinal Game on Saturday, August 25th during the 2012 MLL Championship Weekend in Boston, Mass. The No. 2 seed will play the No. 3 seed at 4:00 p.m.

CBS Sports Network is seen in 45 million homes and is available to 98 million households across the country. The Network is available through local cable and video providers and is available nationally via satellite on DirecTV Channel 613 and DISH Network Channel 152. CBS Sports Network is also available in Canada on the following video providers: Bell TV, Eastlink, Cogeco, Rogers, Bell Aliant, and Sasktel.
