Gulf Coast Flash Added To Expansion Teams

Indianapolis, IN. The American Basketball Association (ABA) www.abalive.com today announced that it has added the Gulf Coast Flash to its list of expansion teams for the upcoming season. "We are very pleased to have Jeremi Washington and his group as part of the ABA," stated Joe Newman, ABA CEO. "He has an excellent feel for business and marketing, a terrific background in entertainment which is important as well as a passion for basketball. And the team certainly fits beautifully into our Southeast division with a touch of Southwest too. It should be terrific."
Jeremi Washington is a native of Brookhaven, MS but was raised in Gulfport, MS which is where the team will be located. He is the owner of Flash Financial, a chain of six tas offices in three states as well as Underground Sounds Entertainment, a thriving independent record label.
"Our goal is to bring an exciting brand of professional basketball combined with unique musical entertainment at affordable prices to the fans of the Gulf Coast," added Washington. "With the oil spill and the economy, this is really much needed and we believe we can also use this to help in the community with a variety of fund raising activities.
