GLIFL reaches arena agreements

June 30, 2005 - Continental Indoor Football League (CIFL) News Release

The Great Lakes Indoor Football League is pleased to announce arena exclusivity agreements with the Kellogg Arena in Battle Creek, Michigan, the Palmer Arena in Danville, Illinois, the ESL Sports Centre in Rochester, New York and the Toledo Sports Arena in Toledo, Ohio.

These four deals allow the GLIFL to look exclusively for owners in these markets for the 2006 season. When found, owners will then be able to easily finalize arena contracts to play five home games in the league's inaugural season.

Three of these markets are brand new to the game of indoor football. Rochester is the exception, but the GLIFL will mark the first game action within the ESL Sports Centre.

The league is very excited about these agreements. Founding partner Jeff Spitaleri notes, "I am very happy with the progress that the GLIFL has made in signing these deals. We believe that bringing a new product that fans have not seen before will create a very high interest level, which will help our ownership groups. Rochester has hosted an indoor football team before, from 2001-2003 and they had very good attendance numbers. We believe with hard work, the fans will again support indoor football."

The Great Lakes Indoor Football League begins its Inaugural Season in April 2006. For more information regarding the GLIFL, please contact GLIFL Director of Media Relations Josh Stein.
