GLIFL announces All-Star Teams

July 19, 2006 - Continental Indoor Football League (CIFL) News Release


GLIFL fans throughout the league's inaugural season have witnessed some of the most exciting indoor football in the history of the sport. Part of that excitement comes with teams having top-notch talent on all six GLIFL teams. The inaugural GLIFL All-Star Game will be played August 5 at 7:05 P.M. at Stabler Arena on the campus of Lehigh University. The Great Lakes Indoor Football League is thus pleased to announce the forty players named to the league's all-star teams.

The West squad will be comprised of players from Battle Creek, Marion, and Port Huron. Each team, by a league vote before the season, will have six All-Star Game representatives. In addition, the best place kicker and kick returner has been added, giving both squads 20 players.
