Georgia Force Defeat Cleveland Gladiators 41-39

Duluth, GA (March 12, 2012) - In a thrilling 2012 opening game showdown against the competitive Cleveland Gladiators, the Georgia Force managed to pull out a victory against their competitors with a final game score of 41-39. In front of a boisterous crowd of 6,573 Arena Football League fans, the two competitors battled it out in The Arena at Gwinnett Center in Duluth, Georgia.
Defensive Back Tracy Belton set the tone early on for the Force with an interception within seconds of the start of the game. The exciting play was quickly followed up by an touchdown caught by Larry Shipp. Belton pulled out another interception close to the end of the first quarter. By the half, the Force led 22-13.
With only three minutes left in the fourth quarter, Wide Receiver Jeremy Grier caught a thrilling interception, pulling the the Force ahead 40-32. The Force managed to execute an exciting victory with a final score of 41-39. Quarterback Darnell Kennedy completed 16 of 29 passes for 129 yards 3 touchdowns and two interceptions in the win.
