Gallos de Pelea Beat Jam, 107-99

Gallos de Pelea defeated the Long Beach Jam, and makes sure there is no unbeaten team in the ABA. Final score was 107 to 98; head Coach Palma put again a very aggressive defense to hold the fast game strategy of Jam.

An emotional game was played in Gimnasio Universitario, Gallos de Pelea know it was now or never to defeat till then the only unbeaten team of the league in home, it was kind of Christmas present to their loyal fans, the first quarter ended 25 to 18 and since then the Gallos took control of the game and never leave it, they were up at the half by 58 to 38.

The JAM came back in the third quarter and cut the difference to 12 points, Gallos de Pelea in the fourth quarter had a little hesitation but recover fast to keep the rhythm of the game, Long Beach felt the pressure and their hopes to win in the last two minutes vanished when Gallos de Pelea were pretty effective in the free throws department with .897 percentage.

Nate Driggers again did a solid game with 25 points and 5 rebounds, follow by David Shelton with 20 points 12 of them were 4 three points shots. Brian Lewin help the team with 21 rebounds, 3 steals and 16 points.

Gallos de Pelea now are flying to Jersey for two games in Jersey's home.
