Adam Keenan passed away suddenly on June 6th, 2011 and the Futures League has instituted an annual sportsmanship and scholarship in his honor. Adam was an exceptional individual that exemplified an unbridled enthusiasm and passion for baseball and his legacy will live on in the Sportsmanship and Scholarship Award.

This year's recipient posted a 2.42 ERA while striking out 25 in twenty-two and a third innings while also closing out many of the Silver Knights victories. The Top Relief Pitcher was awarded to Dylan Maki, who attends Northeastern University, and also was the Silver Knights closer for his exceptional season in relief.

The Pitcher of the Year and the Best Pro Prospect were both awarded to one player who completely dominated the competition this year. The Top Pro Prospect is bestowed upon the player who demonstrates the most pro potential. As a six foot four lefty who compliments his 90 MPH fastball with two solid secondary offerings, Perrault has plenty of ability to succeed at the next level.
