Children in the unit will have the opportunity to interact with and receive encouragement from professional football players in a personal setting.

Several Detroit Fury players, accompanied by the Fury mascot Frenzy and the Detroit Fury cheerleaders, will visit the pediatric unit at St. Joe’s signing autographs and delivering special gifts. The purpose of the Fury hospital visit is to spread joy and laughter throughout the halls of the pediatric unit.

“This hospital visit is a nice way to finish the regular season,” said Greg Myford, senior vice president of the Fury. “Our players have worked hard all season to make a difference on and off the field and bringing a smile to these kids faces is a nice way to complete the season. ”
