
Fury Host Rush Sunday on NBC

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. â On Sunday, May 2nd when the Detroit Fury host the Chicago Rush in Arena Football action, the first 3,000 fans 18 and older will receive a 1940s-style Fury Cheerleader pin-up calendar poster, sponsored by DHL Freight Express.
The Fury vs. Rush match-up will be broadcast on NBC (WDIV-TV) at 3:00 PM and doors at The Palace of Auburn Hills doors will open at 1:30 PM.
"I was at the game in Chicago the last time we played and it was a wild one," said Dave Wieme, director of operations for the Fury. "I think we are going to have a great house on Sunday with lots of excited fans in the building."
The last time these two teams met, the Fury won on a last second touchdown in Chicago, 72-71. The Fury at 4-7 are only four games back and still looking to make the AFL Playoffs. The Chicago Rush, with a 7-4 record are currently second in the American Central division only trailing Colorado by one game.
All fans are encouraged to arrive early for "Tailgate Alley" and parking is $10 for all vehicles including RV's, trucks, vans, etc. The evening will also be "Safe Prom Night" as the Fury partnered with the Auburn Hills Police Department to inform students from local high schools on how to be safe during the upcoming prom season.
