Frisco team to make formal introduction next week

Frisco, Texas.: The Intense Football League and its newest franchise, Frisco Professional Football, have a special luncheon planned for next Wednesday, November 15th at the Texas Land & Cattle Steak House located at 3191 Preston Road in Frisco. Lunch will be served for media and dignitaries at 1:30 PM compliments of Texas Land & Cattle with announcements to follow at 2:00 PM.

Topics covered will include an introduction of team owners and the IFL, the signing of two marquis players, the launching of a "Name-the-Team-Contest" in conjunction with area businesses, and an opportunity to meet the team's first-ever head coach.

The Intense Football League is made up of nine franchises in Anchorage, Alaska, Lake Charles, Louisiana, and seven Texas cities including Belton, Corpus Christi, El Paso (2008), Katy, Odessa, San Angelo, and now Frisco. The teams compete in a 14 game schedule beginning in April with Frisco Professional Football calling the Dr. Pepper Star Center home.
