KANNAPOLIS, NC - Friday's scheduled game between the Kannapolis Intimidators and the Asheville Tourists has been rained out. The teams will play a doubleheader on Saturday evening, with the first game starting at 6:00 p.m.
Gates at Fieldcrest Cannon Stadium will open at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Intimidators Baseball and BBQ Bash will go ahead as scheduled with sampling to take place at the ballpark from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Fireworks will take place after the conclusion of the second of the two seven-inning contests. The first 1,000 fans at Saturday's game will also receive 2009 Intimidators magnet schedules, courtesy of Pizza Hut.
Tickets for Friday night's game can be exchanged for any 2009 regular season home game at the Fieldcrest Cannon Stadium ticket office.
