
Friday's Calgary/San Jose game longest game in NLL history

Friday's game between the Calgary Roughnecks and San Jose Stealth at Pengrowth Saddledome was the longest in league history. Luke Wiles scored the game-winner 11:42 into sudden death overtime, giving San Jose a 17-16 victory after nearly 72 minutes of action.
The previous record, which was set on January 10th, 2004, was 10:45 into overtime (just under 71 minutes of game action). Peter Lough scored that game-winner to lift the Arizona Sting over the Anaheim Storm.
