Fresno Legends Name New Director Of Player Personnel

Fresno, CA. The ABA Fresno Legends expansion team that begins play in December today named Eric Yates as Director of Player Personnel. According to Dominick Young, team owner, "Eric's prime responsibility will be to keep abreast of professional talent pools available to the Legends while also helping to oversee the team's promotional efforts."
A native of Fresno (Washington Union High School), Yates has a unique understanding of the interaction among players and coaches doe in part to his experience gained through various roles with the Washington Union basketball program.
Yates decided to pursue a career in radio broadcasting after transferring back to Fresno State from Long Beach State. Not long after his return, Yates worked for Clear Channel Radio's B95 and Fox Sports Radio. He also spent time with Fresno's ESPN Radio and now is currently working for The Valley's NewsTalk Radio Leader, KMJ 580AM.
