Freedom To Hold Open House / Select-a-seat Event

The Fort Wayne Freedom, first-year member of the Continental Indoor Football League that is owned and operated by Fort Wayne Sports Partners, will be having an Open House/Select-A-Seat event at the Memorial Coliseum on Tuesday, November 13th from 3:00-8:00 pm.

Fans will have a chance to sit in the seats before they purchase them and team staff will be on hand to assist and answer any questions. Head coach "Touchdown" Eddie Brown will be in attendance, along with a couple of his early player signings, interacting with fans and giving them a glimpse of what to expect during the 2008 season from the Freedom.

One new twist for fans accustomed to attending football games at the Memorial Coliseum is the relocation of the home and visiting team benches. The home team will be on the odd numbered side of the arena from now on and all fans desiring to sit behind the visiting team in 2008 are encouraged to get to the Coliseum very early on November 13th to reserve their new seats. The front office has been taking with fan club members from the previous teams and are working to make sure every fan gets the seat they desire, but after November 13th all seats will be released on a first come-first serve basis.

Season tickets can be purchased by calling 471-FREE (3733). There will be three levels of season tickets available for fans. The Red section (1st Four rows only) will cost $200, White section (lower 200 level) will be $100 and the Blue section (upper 200 level) will cost just $70. The Fort Wayne Freedom will play a seven-game home schedule from March through May that includes one pre-season game. CIFL playoffs run during the month of June, with no games being played after the 4th of July holiday weekend.

Group ticket rates are available for just $12 (White), $8 (Blue) and $5 (600 Press Level) for all groups of 20 or more.
