FREE-AGENT SIGNING DATE MOVED TO OCTOBER
NEW YORK - Due to the devastating effects of Hurricane Katrina, the AFL and AFLPA have changed the 2006 free-agent signing date for all players from September 14 to October 1 at 12 a.m. ET. This change does not affect the Utah Blaze Expansion Draft, which will take place on September 26, as scheduled.
