COLUMBUS, Ohio- The Ohio Machine have signed midfielder Frank Brown to a one-year contract through 2019, the team announced today.

In three games played last season, Brown scored four goals and four assists for the Machine, including a hat trick on July 7th against the Florida Launch. Brown also played for Iroquois Nationals at the 2018 FIL World Championships and had four goals and two assists in eight games.

Brown played four years for Hobart College before being selected 58th overall at the 2017 Major League Lacrosse Collegiate Draft by the Rochester Rattlers. Later that year, he was selected 24th overall in the 2017 NLL Entry Draft by the Georgia Swarm. He played in six games for the Swarm before being signed to the Rochester Knighthawks in March of 2018. In college, he was voted the 2017 Northeast Conference Player of the Year and Offensive Player of the Year while being named an Honorable Mention All-American after leading the Statesmen with 32 goals and 50 points. During the summer of 2016 and 2017, he played for the Native Sons of the Can-Am Senior B Box Lacrosse league, winning the Cam-Am Championship both years and earning bids to the President's Cup.

"Frank played extremely well for us in the short time that we had him for last season," Machine Head Coach and General Manager Bear Davis said. "We're happy to have him back in the fold and are really looking forward to building on that success across a full season in 2019."
