Forward Madison FC has signed Ecuadorian midfielder Danny Tenorio as its second-ever player. Tenorio joins the team after having most recently played for Naples United FC in the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL).

Head Coach Daryl Shore said he is pleased to be able to add Tenorio to his squad.

"Danny is an exciting attacking player who can play as a 10 or out wide because he is calm on the ball and looks to involve the players around him," Shore said. "We are excited to add Danny to our group. He is the type of player that the fans will appreciate on the field with his attacking abilities, but most importantly his passion for the game and desire to win were qualities that we felt were important for our team."

Tenorio, a native of Ecuador, played in his home country for clubs in Guayaquil and Quito early in his career, including Independiente del Valle, which reached the final of the Copa Libertadores in 2016. The 25-year-old moved to Florida to play for Naples United in 2018, where he caught the eye of Shore.

"It feels so amazing to have signed my contract," Tenorio said. "I'm very happy for the opportunity and I can't wait to be on the field with my teammates."

Tenorio's signing will be confirmed pending league and federation approval.
