
Former USBL assistant coach head to Temple University

MILFORD, CT "" (June 6, 2006) Former United States Basketball League (USBL) assistant coach Dave Duke was named Men's Basketball Assistant Coach at Temple University. Duke was an assistant coach and the director of player personnel for the Atlantic City Seagulls from 1996-1998. He was an integral part of the Kevin Mackey's Atlantic City Seagulls' USBL championship seasons in 1997 and 1998. Duke helped further the careers of several USBL players that went on to the NBA including LaMark Baker, Mark Blount, William Cunningham, Paul Graham, Adrian Griffin, Chris Jent, and Mark Strickland.
For the past eight years, Duke has been a member of the University of Pennsylvania men's basketball coaching staff. He was instrumental in Penn's six Ivy League championships between 1998 and 2006.
