
Former SEC Superstar Omarr Conner Signs with Mississippi MudCats

( Tupelo , MS ) -The Mississippi MudCats of the AIFA announced that Wide Receiver/ Quarterback and Macon , Mississippi native Omarr Conner has signed with the team for the upcoming 2008 season.Conner (6'1"- 223 lbs) was named Mr. Football for Mississippi by the Jackson Clarion
Ledger in 2003 while playing at Noxubee County High School and taking them into playoffs.
He made an immediate impact for Mississippi State Football upon his arrival in 2003 and
became a factor from the outset in the Bulldog receiving corps and on special teams, later
moving to the quarterback position. While at Mississippi State , he played in 31 games with
21 starts for the Bulldogs accounting for 15 touchdowns and 2,732 yards. "I'm very exited about landing such a high profile recruit to our offensive arsenal, adding such
a lethal weapon like Omarr, should fuel the fire to what is already the AIFA's #1 ranked offense,"
said Coach Kirk Broussard, Offensive Coordinator.
