WICHITA, Kan. - Former Force RB Tywon Hubbard will be recognized and inducted in the Kansas Pro Indoor Football Hall of Fame sponsored by the Wichita Sports Hall of Fame and Museum.

Hubbard played for a total of four seasons in professional football spending three seasons with the former Wichita Wild (CPIFL) and one with the Force.

With one season of retirement under his belt, Hubbard released the following comment on his honorary induction:

"After playing football for 19 years, I've come to realize the journey was worth every sprint, every tear, every weight lifted, every sacrifice I have ever made mentally and physically," Hubbard said. "Football has taught me so many things. The most life-changing principle I learned is that football is not about one individual it's about the team. It's about making sacrifices for the people you love, whether it's your brother's on the team or your team in life: your family. My journey with football has been littered with a lot of ups and downs and adversity but without a shadow of a doubt, Wichita has given me their best and I've tried my hardest to give them mine. Thank you to the Wichita Force and Wichita Wild for being the best organization in all of pro-indoor football. You have left an immovable mark on my family and I. Thank you Coach Paco, Marvin Fisher, Coach [Morris] Lolar, John Blazek, Coach [Paul] Savage and more importantly the teams who went to battle with me every Saturday. Thank you Wichita Football Fans for all your support. Lastly, thank you Kansas Pro Indoor Football Hall Of Fame for this tremendous honor. It's amazing what sacrifice and the desire to achieve something great can turn into. Thank you all of Wichita for letting 22 run a little bit!"

In his rookie professional season, Hubbard led the IFL in all-purpose yards with 2,325 and 23 touchdowns. In his second season, he finished the year with 19 touchdowns in what would be the first of two consecutive championships for the Wild.

Hubbard started his collegiate career by spending his first two season at Butler Community College where he rushed for 615 yards and assisted the Grizzles win the national championship during his sophomore year. Upon graduation, Hubbard transferred to the University of Central Missouri where he spent two seasons with the Mules.
