Force to Host Clinic Series at Georgian Court

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - Anyone interested in working with the members of the Philadelphia Force Softball team, here is your chance. The Force will be offering nightly clinics from Tuesday May 19th to Friday, May 22nd at the Georgian Court University Softball Complex in Lakewood, N.J. Force Owner/GM Tom Kleinman said "I welcome the opportunity to expose girls who otherwise might not be able to see the best players in the World. It also is a way we can give back to colleges like GCU, and enhance their already great Softball Program."

This year's clinics will run from 6-7:30 p.m. every night, and will give campers the opportunity to work one-on-one with some of the best players in the National Pro Fastpitch league.

Each day the camp will begin with an autograph session with all the pro's from 6-6:15 p.m. From 6:15 to 7:30 p.m. the campers will work with the pros on all aspects of the game of softball (pitching/hitting/fielding).

At the end of each clinic, campers will have the opportunity to get more autographs as well as take pictures with some of their favorite Force players. Campers will also have the opportunity to win two complimentary tickets to an upcoming Force game as well.

Besides being the home for this year's clinic, the Georgian Court Softball Complex will also play host to the Force's first week of spring training. They will move into their home facility ECTB Stadium in Allentown, PA May 23 for the balance of their Spring Training. This season the Force will spend five days (May 18-22) at one of the finest Softball complex's in the nation to prepare for their very busy 2009 season, which is scheduled to get underway on Wednesday, June 3rd against the Chicago Bandits.
