WICHITA, Kan. - The Wichita Force are excited to announce that the organization has come to an agreement with WorkSafe PT for rehabilitation services for the 2016 season.

"WorkSafe believes strongly in supporting local businesses," owner Nancy Wilson, PT, CEAS said. "We know partnering with the Wichita Force is an excellent way to do that and increase our visibility as well."

Started in July 2000 as Wellness Professionals, Wilson started the physical therapy clinic that specializes in on-site physical therapy, ergonomic assessments, job analysis, pre-work physical ability testing, early injury intervention, functional capacity evaluation, urine drug testing and employee education and training.

"In addition to being huge football fans, we believe that working with the Force athletes will be a good tie in with our new Early Injury Intervention/Industrial Athlete Program," Wilson said.

In 2010, Wilson changed the name the business's current name "WorkSafe Physical Therapy" to reflect the emphasis on workplace safety and health.

WorkSafe Physical Therapy is located at 1999 N. Amidon in the Marino Point Office Park but has the capabilities of providing on-site services at many of Wichita's largest employers being the city's only clinic entirely devoted to occupational health.

As part of the partnership, WorkSafe Physical Therapy will provide the Force with a certified athletic trainer to assist with practices, home and road games. This season Cris Dooley will be serving in that position for the team.

"I'm excited to be joining the WorkSafe staff as their athletic trainer to work with the Wichita Force," Dooley said. "My goal is to help the players stay healthy so they can play to the best of their ability throughout the season."

Over the course of his 20 years as an athletic trainer, Dooley has worked with high school sports teams, colleges in Texas and Kansas as well as indoor football.

"I enjoy the atmosphere of competition and the professionalism which comes with these athletes," Dooley commented.

The Force will kick-off the 2016 regular home season on Saturday, March 12 against the Duke City Gladiators at INTRUST Bank Arena. 2016 season tickets start at just $77. Call the Force at 316-425-3009 to secure your seats today.
