Force sign first set of newcomers WR Davis, RB Benning for 2016

WICHITA, Kan. - The Wichita Force announced today that former Salina Bomber RB Quentin Benning and PIFL WR Ronald Davis have signed to join the Force for the upcoming 2016 season.
Last season, Benning played with the former Salina Bombers as the team's starting running back. In 11 games, Benning recorded 334 net rushing yards and six touchdowns and finished the year with an average of 30.4 yards per game. He also recorded 117 receiving yards on 11 catches while finishing the season with 10.6 receiving yards per game. At the conclusion of the season, Benning finished No. 6 in the league for rushing despite the team's fold.
"I can't wait to get back on the field again this season," Benning commented on joining the Force. "I look forward to suiting up with my new team in orange. I had a blast with the Bombers and now it's time for a change."
A native of San Antonio, Texas, Benning spent four years at Friends University playing as the team's running back. During his time with the Falcons, Benning racked up seven rushing touchdowns, 1,058 all-purpose yards and 146 receiving yards.
Davis, a WR that has spent the past three seasons in the PIFL, comes to Wichita after spending last year with the Richmond Raiders. Recording 25 receptions for 476 yards and 15 touchdowns, Davis will be a key piece of the team's offense this season.

A native of Coffeyville, Kan., Davis played with at Stillman College out of Tuscaloosa, Ala. as a WR for the Tigers. Davis made his professional debut in 2013 where he played for the former Louisiana Swashbucklers of the PIFL. He also played with the former Georgia Fire.
