Wichita Force News Release
WICHITA, Kan. - The Wichita Force has announced the addition of defensive lineman Karsmann Johnson for the 2017 season.
Johnson (6'4, 271) attended Falkner University where he appeared in 10 games for the Eagles during the 2014-15 season. Johnson had 29 tackles, including tackles for loss, and 3.5 sacks.
Prior to Faulkner, Johnson spent one season each at Ventura College in California and North East Oklahoma A&M College. A native of Nashville, Tennessee, Johnson was highly recruited out of McGavock High School. Following his sophomore year at NE Oklahoma A&M, Johnson received offers from Tennessee and Kentucky.
Johnson is the fourth defensive lineman signed heading into February's training camp. He'll compete with returner Chaquil Reed and newcomers Tevin Davis and Derrick Lawrence Jr. for a starting spot on the Force defensive line. Offensive lineman Clinton Barley and linebacker Fred Williams Jr. could also be a factor on the Force defensive line headed into the 2017 season.
Season tickets are now on sale and can be purchased online at www.selectaseat.com or by calling 316.425.3009. For the latest player signings and more information on the Force, visit www.wichitaforce.com, like the team on Facebook, or follow them on Twitter (@wichitaforce).
