
Force Sign Defensive Back Ed Brown

WICHITA, Kan. - The Wichita Force has announced the signing of defensive back Ed Brown for the 2017 season.
Brown (6'0, 195) joins the Force after having an impressive senior year at Fort Hays State University. He started all 11 games for Fort Hays and helped lead the team to a 7-4 record. He had 39 tackles, which ranked him 10th on the team for tackles. Brown also led the team in pass break-ups with seven and had one interception.
Prior to joining Fort Hays, Brown played for Kansas State University (11'-13'). During his three years at KSU he helped the team to a 30-9 record, including a 12-1 record during the 2012-2013 season, which received them an invitation for the 2013 Tostitos Fiesta Bowl.
In 2015, Brown received a tryout opportunity with the Seattle Seahawks. He is only the third player in history from Fort Hays State to get a look from an NFL team.
