Wichita Force News Release
WICHITA, Kan. - The Wichita Force announced today that rookie WR/QB Brandon Steed will join the Force for his debut professional season.
"I am extremely excited to be a part of the Force organization," Steed said. "I have heard many great things from former coaches and players who were all part of the staff for my senior season at Bethel. The Force is definitely the best fit for me. I'm from San Diego so the weather is a bit rough but I love the atmosphere here. I feel like the Force fans are some of the best, if not the best in the league and I can't wait to prove to them and the organization that I do belong on this team. I want to thank everyone who was a part of this process for this opportunity and I can't wait to see what this season will bring."
A recent graduate from Bethel University, Steed spent his senior season with the Threshers where he recorded 2,249 total offensive yards including 1,843 passing for 14 touchdowns and 406 rushing with six touchdowns. He also served as the team's punter this season racking up 1,759 yards on 50 punts.
Wichita Force season tickets are on sale starting at $77 and be purchased by calling 316-425-3009. For more information on the Force and to check the season schedule, visit www.wichitaforce.com, like the team on Facebook and follow them on Twitter (@wichitaforce).
