Wichita Force News Release

WICHITA, Kan. - The Wichita Force announced today that OL Darren Marquez has resigned with the Force for the 2017 season.

Marquez, a standout left tackle, has started every game in the Force's two-year history. In 2015 he was named to the All-CIF Second Team and helped the Force secure a championship in 2016, the first in franchise history. Marquez provides veteran leadership and consistency to the offensive line.

In 2008, Marquez signed with the Indianapolis Colts as an undrafted free agent. Prior to the Force, Marquez spent time with the BC Lions (CFL), Nebraska Danger (IFL), and the Wichita Wild (CPIFL). Marquez won two championships with the Wild and was named to the All-CPIFL Second Team in 2014.
