Georgia Force News Release

Duluth, GA - On the heels of last night's win in Des Moines, the Georgia Force will bruise their way into the playoffs with an 11-7 record and the American Conference's #3 seed. Though they travel to Cleveland for round one, a potential home matchup with Orlando in the American Conference Championship Game looms in the second round. With the goal of again filling The Arena at Gwinnett Center to the rafters, the Force will make tickets to this mammoth game available at a reduced rate this week.

"The AFL playoffs are unpredictable," said Force president Cory Howerton, "and we're not overlooking Cleveland. But we owe it to the team to give our fans a chance to fill The Arena for the second round and cheer the Force on to ArenaBowl XXIV."

In a show of appreciation for the support the team has received in its first season back in Georgia, ticket prices for this game will be reduced. 90% of all seats will be available for $10. The premium seating options closest to the field will be $30 and $50, giving fans a chance to see the game from a vantage point they may not have utilized prior.

Tickets to this game, to be played on either August 5 or 6, will be made available first to season ticket holders on Monday morning at 10:00. They will then go on sale to the general public on Thursday morning at 10:00. Credit card orders will not be processed until the game is confirmed.

To set up this memorable game, Orlando must upset Jacksonville in the first round in addition to Georgia's win over Cleveland. With wins by Georgia and Jacksonville, the conference title tilt will take place in the Sunshine State.
