Force Makes Roster Changes, Adjustments in Preparation for Week No. 10

WICHITA, Kan. - The Wichita Force announced today that the team has signed QB David Olson, QB/WR Jeffrey Legree, and DB Dontra' Matthews to the team
On Sunday, the team announced that starting QB Stephen Panasuk signed with the Arena Football League (AFL)'s Cleveland Gladiators and immediately departed from the team. In need to fill the starting void, the Force signed Olson and Legree to balance the team's offensive needs.
Olson, a recent graduate from Clemson University, spent four seasons at Stanford University and where he opted to graduate early and transferred to Clemson to spend his last year of eligibility. Since graduating from Clemson, Olson has played in one game of the American Indoor Football (AIF) league's Myrtle Beach Freedom.
Legree, a native of Brooklyn, N.Y., will make his debut in the Champion Indoor Football (CIF) league this weekend with the Force. In his professional career, Legree has played overseas in Germany for two years and one season in Poland. Upon returning the United States, Legree was picked up by the Reading Raptors of the Major Indoor Football League (MIFL) where the team won the 2015 championship and Legree was named Player of the Year.
Most recently, Legree had a short stint with the AIF's Central Florida Jaguars where he played in three games.
Matthews is a former DB for the Salina Liberty where he recorded 30 total tackles, four interceptions and two forced fumbles in five games.
Matthews attended Victor Valley College where he served as a DB, KR, and PR for the ... In two seasons, he recorded 87 tackles and nine interceptions where he earned All-American, All-State, and All-Conference honors. He transferred to Virginia University of Lynchburg where he started in 38 games and recorded 11- tackles, 14 interceptions and 26 pass breakups.
Olson, Legree, and Matthews will debut their Force career's on Saturday against the Chicago Eagles at INTRUST Bank Arena.
