Force Finish 2016 Signings with QB Panasuk, OL McGuire

WICHITA, Kan. - The Wichita Force announced today that veteran QB Stephen Panasuk and OL Jacob McGuire have signed to join the Force for the 2016 season.
Panasuk joins the Force after serving the past three seasons with the Wyoming Calvary (IFL), Kentucky Drillers (CIFL) and Trenton Freedom (PIFL). In 2015, Panasuk played in 10 games for the Freedom where he completed 167 passes for 1,866 yards. He finished the year with 34 passing and three rushing touchdowns.
"I'm excited to be a part of the Wichita Force," Panasuk said. "The organization is extremely professional and the fan base looks amazing. I look forward to coming in and doing great things and being a part of something great this season.
A Jackson, N.J. native, Panasuk attended La Salle University before transferring to Wagner University. In 2007, Panasuk served a quarterback for the La Salle Explorers were he completed 38 passes for three touchdowns and recorded 373 yards.
After a private workout with head coach Paco Martinez, McGuire was signed to join the team at training camp set to begin this Saturday at the Wichita Sports Forum.
"I want to advance my career in football and since I grew up around Wichita, it seemed like a perfect fit," McGuire commented on signing with the Force.
A native of Newton, Kan., McGuire played at Independence College prior to transferring to Northwestern Oklahoma State University. In his junior and senior seasons, McGuire started every game of the year at left tackle. He also earned Honorable Mention All-GAC in his junior season.
The Wichita Force will kick-off its 2016 season in Salina on Saturday, March 5 at the Bicentennial Center. The team will return to Wichita the following week to host the Duke City Gladiators at INTRUST Bank Arena. Season tickets are available and start at only $77.
