WICHITA, Kan. - The Wichita Force have signed offensive lineman Clinton Barley for the 2017 season.

Barley is a veteran of indoor football, having spent the past two and a half season with the Omaha Beef. With the Beef, the 6'3 and 345 lbs lineman played on both sides of the ball. Prior to the Beef, Barley played for the Georgia Fire and had stints in the CFL and with the Washington Redskins practice squad.

Barley along with fellow newcomer Travis Hening will compete with two returning starters from last year's offensive line, Darren Marquez and Darrius Moore, for the 3 available starting positions. Barley is a natural defensive lineman, but recently made the switch to offense with the Beef. Versatility could allow Barley, to see snaps on both sides of the ball this upcoming season.

Barley is a native of Wichita, Kansas. His collegiate career began at Coffeyville Community College, before transferring to Western Illinois University.

Season tickets are now on sale and can be purchased online at www.selectaseat.com or by calling 316.425.3009. For the latest player signings and more information on the Force, visit www.wichitaforce.com, like the team on Facebook, or follow them on Twitter (@wichitaforce).
