Football Hall of Fame Scout John Lestini and Wife Mary Jo Lestini to Attend Combine

Winston Salem, NC - Sports Xtras is pleased to announce additional recruiting commitments to attend the National Professional Indoor Football Combine that is set for September 11th and 12th in Greensboro, North Carolina at Proehlific Park. The Hall of Fame scout John Lestini and Hall of fame member Mary Jo Lestini will be at the event to observe players. Some of Mr. Lestini credentials include being a former NFLPA Certified Contract advisor, a member of the 2007 Minor League Football Hall of Fame, 2010 Member of American News Football Hall of Fame, and retired Director for the National Steroid Research Center and Other drugs of Abuse in Sports, owner of Lestini and Sons Insurance and Financial Services. He also sponsors the Lestini Group Annual National Pro Football Free Agent Tryout Camp in Mobile, Alabama that will be celebrating its 15th Annual Pro Combine at the University of South Alabama, during the Senior Bowl weekend. Pro Scouts from the NFL, Canadian League, Arena League and pro club teams in Europe attend looking for talent.

Mrs. Mary Jo Lestini, which for 20 years, was Camp Coordinator/Public Relations Director for Lestini Group Annual National Pro Football Free Agent Tryout Camp. Her retirement from that position can still be felt. Mrs. Lestini credentials include being inducted into the American Football Hall of Fame in 2011. She also covers events throughout America and Europe to assist new and existing leagues. As well she assisted retired NFL players with personal appearances through Lestini Group Certified Sports Management for many years. For this and additional work that she has performed she will be inducted into the Minor League Football Hall of Fame during December of this year.

There are further announcements of teams and scouts to attend over the next weeks. The attendance of players is planned to be huge with many players preregistering to insure having an opportunity to participate. With the growth of professional indoor football finding good player talent is key to a winning season and this event is for that need.
