Flyers Announce 2003 Promotional Schedule

SCHAUMBURG, IL- The Schaumburg Flyers' Promotional Lineup for the upcoming 2003 season features a wide variety of events and giveaways.
The Flyers have partnered with Oak Brook-based Ty on a pair of Teenie Beanie Bopper ⢠Giveaway Nights slated for Wednesday, June 11, when the Flyers host Lincoln, and Monday, August 11, when Gary comes to town. Both games will begin at 7:05 PM. The first 1,500 kids, ages 14 and under, to pass through the Alexian Field gates on each of those dates will receive a plush Teenie Beanie Bopper ⢠doll. With over 30 different styles, Ty's new Teenie Beanie Boppers have been a real hit with kids.

MIKE NORTH BOBBLEHEAD NIGHT SET FOR JUNE 12 Mike North, the afternoon host on all-sports WSCR Radio-670 AM, will be the headliner at Alexian Field on Thursday, June 12 as the Flyers host Mike North Bobblehead Doll Night Courtesy of JDS Financial. The first 4,000 fans in attendance at the 7:05 PM Flyers-Lincoln game will receive a bobblehead replica of North and his faithful dog, Licorice. North and his broadcast partner Doug Buffone will host their 2-6:30 PM 'Wise Guys' afternoon show from The Schaumburg Club stadium restaurant.
COUNTDOWN CONTINUES TO OPENING WEEKEND COURTESY OF SBC Tickets for Opening Weekend Courtesy of SBC are on sale now at the Alexian Field Ticket Office. The Flyers will launch their fifth Northern League season with a three-game series against Sioux Falls from May 23-25.
Current ticket office hours are 10 AM-6 PM, Monday-Friday and 10 AM-3 PM on Saturdays. Tickets are also available by phone at (847) 891-2255 or on-line at www.flyersbaseball.com. The ballpark is located at 1999 Springinsguth Road, Schaumburg.
Early arriving fans at the Friday, May 23 opener have a chance at a pair of giveaways. The first 1,500 fans will receive Full-Size Bats courtesy of SBC while the first 4,000 through the turnstiles will pick up 2003 Magnet Schedules courtesy of Fifth Third Bank. The Opening Night game begins at 7:05 PM.
SBC will present the first post-game fireworks display of the season on Saturday, May 24 (6:20 PM) and the Zooperstars! entertainment act on Sunday, May 25 (1:20 PM). Fifth Third Bank will also give away Magnet Schedules to the first 4,000 fans in attendance on both May 24 & May 25. A complete promotional schedule is listed below:
