
Florida Tarpons Remain Undefeated with Big Win in Lakeland

LAKELAND, FL - The Florida Tarpons (5-0) professional football team remain undefeated after beating the Lakeland Raiders (4-2) in Lakeland 59 to 51.
Tarpons WR and leading UIFL scorer caught 3 TD passes, WR Carlos Singleton added 2 TD catches, while WR Chuck Walker caught a TD, and Running Back Steve Gorrie added 2 rushing TD's.
Kicker Ross Gornall added 11 points (1 Field Goal, and 8 for 8 on extra points). Gornall also added one onside kick recovery.
The Florida Tarpons have a bye week, and then return to Germain Arena on Saturday April 28th to take on the Mississippi Hound Dogs. For more information visit www.floridatarpons.com.
