Florida Makos to Hold Tryout Camp

Gainesville, Fl. The newly announced ABA Florida Makos today announced the first of several tryout camps scheduled for this summer. It will be held on Saturday, July 24th outside of Gainesville FL at the Newberry Sports Complex.

"As a professional basketball player myself, I know what it takes to be competitive in the ABA," stated Patrick Grayson, team owner. "We know there is great talent available in the area as there are some great basketball programs in Florida and Georgia. Hopefully, the best of that talent will come to our tryouts. We want to have a playoff caliber team first year."
