Fifth season kicks off tonight

Tonight opens the fifth season for the Continental Indoor Football League. While the Commandos and Silverbacks take the field, the rest of the league will continue to prepare for their openers during the first weekend in April. Cincinnati will host Marion in two weeks.
Each team will play a 10-game regular season schedule with six home games. The regular season will run through June 12 with playoffs and the fifth CIFL Championship Game being played on June 26 at the arena of the highest remaining seed. The playoff format for the 2010 season will be 1vs4 and 2vs3.
