Colorado Mammoth News Release

DENVER - The Colorado Mammoth announced today that beloved defenseman Dave Stilley, who was a member of the roster during the franchise's inaugural season in Denver in 2003, has been named to the All-Decade Team. An 11-year pro, Stilley brought energy and excitement to the game that helped grow the team's fan-base.

"If you loved the Colorado Mammoth in our early years, you probably adored Dave Stilley," said Colorado Mammoth President & General Manager Steve Govett. "He was a natural-born leader and a fan-favorite."

"Being amongst the players on this list, I frankly don't feel worthy but I'm certainly honored to be included," said a humbled Stilley. "Being part of this team and this organization...was probably one of the highlights, not only of my lacrosse career, but my life in general."

Stilley began his career with the Philadelphia Wings in 1998, Govett's last as a player in the NLL. After winning two championships in five years in "˜The City of Brotherly Love', the Philadelphia native won another title in his five seasons with Colorado. His lone season in New York with the Titans was his last as pro.

The Duke University alumnus played in 110 career regular-season games and 15 in the postseason, scooping up 400 loose balls along the way. On Saturday, January 28, he will be honored during a halftime ceremony at Pepsi Center.

Tickets to the game on January 28, and all other regular-season home games, are on-sale now at the Pepsi Center box office, all Colorado Dick's Sporting Goods retail kiosks, online at TicketHorse.com, or by calling 303.53.HORSE.
