GARY, IN- The Schaumburg Flyers' exhibition opener against the Gary SouthShore RailCats was rained out this morning in Gary, IN. The game will not be made up.
The Flyers will play one home exhibition game on Sunday, May 18 when Gary comes to Alexian Field for a 1:20 PM game. Tickets for the pre-season game are just $5 and are available at the Alexian Field Ticket Office. For more information, please call the Flyers at (847) 891-2255.
FESTIVITIES ON TAP FOR SBC PRESENTS OPENING WEEKEND

FLYERS SIGN 3B RYAN LUNDQUIST
The Flyers have signed 3B Ryan Lundquist, a product of the Cincinnati Reds organization. Lundquist, 26, spent the past four years in the Reds chain after playing college ball at Arkansas. He played at Class A Stockton in the California League during the 2002 season.
ROSTER DECISIONS LOOMING FOR McCAULEY
Flyers Manager Andy McCauley must pare the 28-man spring training roster to 22 players next week.
