
Erie's Portis Fined, Suspended

FT. MYERS, FL - The UIFL Director of Officials Mike Zyglis and commissioner Jared Lorenzen have announced the suspension of Erie defensive lineman Andre Portis.
Portis was ejected after committing an Unsportsmanlike Conduct foul in which he threw a player from the WPA Sting over the boards.
As a result of his actions, in accordance with the UIFL 2012 Owners Operation and Rules Manual, Portis will be fined an undisclosed amount and suspended for the Explosion game against the Eastern Kentucky Drillers on Sunday, April 1. He is not allowed to attend the game as a player, non-players, or spectator, even if he purchases his own ticket.
